My pages/sites are about content — the public domain content that I find and share; the content that I create and post, and the content-rich pages and sites that I link to.

One of the ways that I'm sharing this content is four blogs, where I'll usually have at least one post a day on each:

Chronicles of the American Civil War — publishing public domain material from the corresponding day of a year during the civil war, currently working on 1862.
Out 'n About — outdoors related postings, a companion blog to my Haw Creek Outdoors pages.
A Selection of Poetry - The Blog — I'm placing some classical poetry on-line and posting one poem a day on this blog, which is the companion blog to my Selection of Poetry pages.
North Farnham Freeholder — a little bit of this and a little bit of that— including some vintage photography and other images, quality on-line sites that I've found over the years and more.

The other way that I'm sharing content is through our pages and web sites, which can be accessed through our home page.

The Freehold is my "catch all" site — the place I keep my useful links as well as a few articles.

According to Wikipedia:

◦ Freehold is a term used in real estate or real property law, land held in fee simple, as opposed to leasehold, which is land which is leased.

◦ A freeholder is an elected county official in the State of New Jersey; see Board of Chosen Freeholders, the body they serve in. (an 8th great-grandfather of mine was one of the earliest freeholders)

◦ Farnham's Freehold is a novel written by Robert A. Heinlein in 1965.

North Farnham was an Anglican parish in Richmond county, Virginia (9th great-grandparents owned land in this parish)
